Staff Attendance Dashboard

The Staff Attendance page shows real-time clock-in data — powered automatically by the Clock-In Portal. No manual input needed.

Overview

When you open Educator Attendance, you see:

  • Summary Cards — Present, Absent, Late, Total Staff (color-coded)
  • Staff Table — Name, Class, Clock-In time, Clock-Out time, Status badge, Work Hours
  • Filters — Date, Class, Status

How It Works

Staff clock in via the Clock-In Portal → their attendance appears here automatically.

  • Present (🟢) — Clocked in, still on site
  • Late (🟡) — Clocked in after the deadline
  • Absent (🔴) — Has not clocked in
  • Completed (🟢) — Clocked in and out, shift complete

Sorting

The table is sorted with absent staff first — so you immediately see who hasn't arrived.

Date Picker

  • Defaults to today (live view)
  • Pick any past date to see historical attendance for that day

Filters

  • Class — Filter by assigned class (e.g. "JSS 2" only)
  • Status — Show only Present, Absent, Late, or Completed

Filters apply instantly (client-side, no reload).

Export

At the bottom of the page:

  1. Set From and To dates
  2. Click Export CSV
  3. Downloads a spreadsheet with all staff attendance for that range

Includes: Name, Email, each date's status, totals (Present/Absent/Late/Leave).

Data Source

All data comes from the Clock-In Portal records. The admin does not need to manually mark attendance — the system records it when staff clock in and out.

Setup

  1. Configure clock-in times in Academic Settings → Clock-In Settings
  2. Share the Clock-In Portal link with staff
  3. Open Educator Attendance to monitor
