Financial Wellness

Earned Salary Access, salary advances, a wellness dashboard, and configurable eligibility & limits — all in one module.

Overview

Financial Wellness gives your team tools to reduce money stress: Earned Salary Access (draw a portion of already-earned wages before payday), Salary Advances (larger advances repaid over time), a Wellness Dashboard of uptake and exposure, and configurable eligibility and limits.

Financial Wellness is available on Professional and Enterprise plans. Open Financial Wellness in the sidebar.

Earned Salary Access (EWA)

Staff request early access to wages they have already earned this period. Requests follow the same segregation-of-duties approval as other requests — an admin who is not the requester approves them.

  1. Staff open the Staff Portal → Earned Salary Access and request an amount within their available limit.
  2. An administrator reviews the request under Financial Wellness → Earned Salary Access and approves or declines.
  3. Approved amounts are disbursed and automatically reconciled against the next payroll run.

Salary Advances

For larger, one-off needs, staff can request a salary advance repaid across future pay periods.

  • Request captured with amount, reason, and repayment period.
  • Admin approval required (the requester cannot approve their own).
  • Repayments are deducted automatically during payroll until cleared.

Wellness Dashboard & Reports

Track total disbursed, outstanding balances, uptake by department/branch, and repayment status. Reports can be exported for finance reconciliation.

Settings & Eligibility

Configure who is eligible, the maximum percentage of earned wages that can be accessed, per-period request limits, and any fees — under Financial Wellness → Wellness Settings.

Only one active EWA request per staff member per pay period. Outstanding advances are recovered from payroll before net pay is finalised.
