Patient Membership & Cards

Configure membership tiers, issue patient cards, and manage family group registrations with tiered pricing.

Overview

Patient Membership & Cards allows your facility to offer tiered membership plans (Single, Family, Platinum) with associated consultation fees and validity periods. Members receive faster service and discounted rates.

Configuring Membership Tiers

Navigate to Facility Settings → Membership Cards & Fees:

Issuing a Card

  1. At Front Desk Billing, select the patient
  2. Under “Patient Card” section, select the card type
  3. The card fee is automatically added to the charge
  4. After payment, the patient’s profile shows their active membership
Patients with active cards show a 👨‍👩‍👧 Family badge in the patient list.

Family Groups

Family and Platinum cards allow multiple members under one registration:

  • Primary member registers and pays the card fee
  • Additional members are added to the group (up to max)
  • Each extra member incurs the “Extra Member Fee”
  • All members share the card’s validity period

How Membership Affects Billing

  • Consultation fees can be configured per membership tier (Settings → Consultation Fees)
  • Card holders may receive discounted consultation rates
  • Front Desk automatically detects membership status and applies the correct fee

Viewing Membership Status

In the patient list (View Patients), members show their group type badge. Click on any patient to see their full membership details in their profile, including card issue date and expiry.
