View Lab Results & Generate Reports

Find patient lab results and generate PDF reports in Cloud Sentrics Healthcare Management.

Review completed lab test results and generate printable PDF reports for patients or their records.

Steps

View Results

  1. Go to Laboratory > Lab Results from the main menu.
  2. Search for the Patient by name or Patient ID.
  3. Select the test result you want to view.
  4. Review the result values, reference ranges, and any notes from the lab.

Generate a Report

  1. From the lab result view, click Generate Report.
  2. The system creates a PDF with the patient details, test name, results, and date.
  3. Download or print the report as needed.

Tips

  • Results are listed in reverse chronological order (most recent first).
  • You can filter results by test type or date range.
  • PDF reports include your facility's letterhead automatically.

Per-Test Completion Tracking

Lab orders now track completion at the individual test level:

  • When you enter a result for one test, only that test is marked as done
  • The order stays in the queue showing progress (e.g., “2 of 5 tests completed”)
  • The order status changes from PendingIn Progress after the first result
  • Once the last test result is entered, the order automatically moves to Completed and leaves the queue

This supports patients who complete tests across multiple visits without losing track of what remains.

Payment Verification Badge

When processing lab results for ordered tests, a payment badge appears showing whether the lab charges have been paid:

  • 🟢 PAID — All lab charges for this patient’s orders are settled
  • 🔴 UNPAID — Outstanding amount shown (e.g., “₦16,500 outstanding”)

This allows lab technicians to verify payment status without leaving the Lab Results module. Processing is still allowed regardless of payment status (warning only, not a block).
